Mallory metoxen ~ Director

Mallory is the Artistic Associate for Renaissance Theaterworks (RTW) & holds degrees in Theater and Business from Cardinal Stritch University.  She has directed THE UNDERSTUDY for RTW, ARABIAN NIGHTS and SURE THING for RTW at InterACT, LUCKY CHARMS at The Milwaukee Artist Resource Network, IN LOVE…YET AGAIN! for The Alchemist and OLD GARDE with InHerOwnRight Productions.  She also started Brink! a New Works Movement with RTW, which is currently accepting submissions for Midwestern women playwrights
She has assistant directed for Renaissance Theaterworks (NEAT, HONOUR and IRENA’S VOW), Skylight Music Theatre (A DAY IN HOLLYWOOD, A NIGHT IN THE UKRAINE), Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (JEEVES IN BLOOM and UNDERNEATH THE LINTEL) and at Alchemist Theatre (KING LEAR).  At present, her directing work can be seen at Splinter Group for THE EFFECT OF GAMMA RAYS ON MAN-IN-THE-MOON MARIGOLDS running Oct. 24 - Nov. 9 and as the Props Designer for RTW’s production of AMELIA directed by Laura Gordon running until Nov. 9.  She will be directing STORAGE SPACE of the Young Playwrights Festival at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre in March 2015

Brittany Curran has her BFA in Acting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and currently works as a director, instructor, and Educational Outreach Coordinator with Milwaukee Youth Theatre. UWM Theatre credits include GINT (Oldie Mama), MARISOL (June), KING LEAR (Cordelia), and THE NATURE OF MUTATION (Josie/Whizmo.) She has also worked with Pink Banana, The World’s Stage Theatre Company, and was the understudy intern for Renaissance Theaterworks’ production of the one-woman show THE BELLE OF AMHERST (Emily Dickinson.) Brittany is honored to be working under the direction of Mallory Metoxen for the first time.

     
Joe Picchetti is a recent graduate of Marquette University with a BA in Theatre Arts.  Upon graduation he moved out west to Los Angeles and has worked on a variety of film,  television, and internet projects both on camera and behind including American Idol, Transformers 4, Lovelace, and the YouTube network YOMYOMF.  He is thrilled to be back in Milwaukee following his theatrical roots with recent credits including Trailer Park Prophecies and Dog Sees God (Splinter Group), The Petrified Forest and Identita (Windfall Theatre), A Thousand Times Goodnight (Theater Red), and The Lion In Winter (Milwaukee Chamber Theatre).  Special thanks to Mallory for this opportunity, as well as his family, friends, and Maddy for their never-ending love and support.

 

Joanna Kerner is thrilled to be able to contribute to such a lovely concert! This is Joanna's debut as a writer in the Milwaukee Theater community. She is a local songwriter and actor has been featured in productions at The Alchemist Theater, Theater Red, and Youngblood. She was most recently seen singing and playing guitar in The World's Stage Theater Company's production of MIXTAPE. She has also composed music for THE PENELOPIAD directed by Leda Hoffman as well as the Milwaukee Opera Theater's EURYDICE FESTIVAL. Check out her music at   reverberation.com/rocketpaloma
