James Zager (Director/Choreographer)

James Zager, an associate member of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SDC), has been directing, choreographing, and designing movement in professional theaters throughout the United States for the past 25 years garnering numerous awards for his work. Zager and has worked extensively with Milwaukee Opera Theatre as well as Milwaukee Metro Voices, Milwaukee Rep, Florentine Opera, Milwaukee Ballet, In-Tandem, Chamber Theatre, Skylight Music Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Marriott’s Lincolnshire Theatre, Light Opera Works, Phoenix Theatre, West Virginia Public Theatre, Barn Theatre in Augusta, MI, Fireside Theatre in Ft. Atkinson, WI. James still makes the occasional onstage appearance and Milwaukee credits include “Charles Thomson” in the Milwaukee Opera Theatre staged reading of 1776, “Ambrogio” in Florentine Opera’s production of Barber of Seville, “Mark” in the TheaterRed/MOT concert presentation of A Chorus Line, and “Lord Henry Wotton” in Milwaukee Ballet’s groundbreaking Dorian Gray.

Jason’s original music has anchored his eclectic fan-favorite theatre productions, from the superhero- and pulp-fiction inspired “Fortuna The Time-Bender Vs. The Schoolgirls Of Doom” and “Doc Danger And The Danger Squad,” to the Christmas-themed “For Purely Elfish Reasons,” and MMV’s 2017 production of the political musical comedy “Only We Know Best – At The Town Hall Meeting.” Other writing credits include “Invader? I Hardly Knew Her” and “In Love Yet Again.” MMV produced a revue of Jason’s songwriting, “Don’t Do The Crime If You Can’t Make It Rhyme,” in December 2018.

Samantha is delighted to be working on another Jason Powell creation! Favorite roles include Velma Von Tussle in HAIRSPRAY (Skylight Music Theatre), Lily St. Regis in ANNIE (Skylight Music Theatre)Gretchen in BOEING BOEING (Milwaukee Chamber Theatre), Lady of the Lake in MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT (Four Seasons Theatre), and Fortuna in FORTUNA THE TIMEBENDER VS. Donna Kummer

Donna has previously directed music for “Fortuna The Time-Bender Vs. The Schoolgirls Of Doom” for MMV and The Milwaukee Opera Theatre. She also serves as the Director of Music for Plymouth Church UCC in Milwaukee, conductor of the Wauwatosa Community Band and Plymouth Chorale, and director of the Schoolhouse Players in Waukesha County. She has served as a musical director, accompanist, or conductor (sometimes, all three!) for over 200 different productions with various professional, community, and school theatres in the Milwaukee area.

Andrea Klohn


Andrea is excited to be working with Milwaukee Metro Voices for the first time! Previous scenic design credits: NINE (Theater RED), MARY POPPINS (Sunset Playhouse), and FIRST DATE (Lake Country Playhouse). When she's not painting, Andrea is a graphic designer at Footlights and a freelance graphic designer for many local theatres including Milwaukee Opera Theatre, Sunset Playhouse, and Artemisia Theatre. She would like to thank the 80s MOVIE production team for being awesome!

Ceci is excited to be working with the dynamic team of Jason Powell, James Zager and Donna Kummer once again! Last summer she was privilege to work on the production team with this tremendous triad for “Doc Danger and the Danger Squad” at Milwaukee Opera Theatre.
